This is what I have for breakfast quite often in the morning. This quick and easy whole foods breakfast has fibre for healthy bowels; from the whole wheat toast, good fat for every cell in our bodies; from the organic coconut oil and organic cheese and some amazing antioxidants to prevent disease; from the delicious heirloom tomatoes.
You don't need a recipe, but here is what you need. If possible, local heirloom tomatoes (quality makes a difference), whole wheat bread, organic gouda, sun dried tomato tapenade and fresh basil.
Cook Outside the Box
Instead of fresh basil, you could use fresh tarragon or thyme.
You could add some homemade hummus for some extra plant protein or top it off with a yummy sunny side up, organic egg.
