Whole Foods: Kale Gomae with Chickpea Miso Dressing
I had a thought a couple of days ago and this is what came of it. I love to figure out new ways to use yummy, nutrient dense kale. Kale has so many nutritional benefits in it for our bodies, and maybe your sick of hearing about all of them but I will leave you with one more.
Did you know that by lightly steaming the kale (like in this recipe), you are helping lower your LDL cholesterol more than if you ate it raw. Steaming the kale helps bind more of the fiber components of the kale with the bile acids of the stomach; therefore helping lower you LDL cholesterol a little more than if oyu ate the kale raw.
