Whole Foods- Corn Tortillas
I fell in love with fresh, warm corn tortillas when I lived in Mexico with Aaron. The smell of the tortillas cooking on the comal brings a comfort that I will always remember. This is a Mexican staple, it is eaten everyday, sometimes three times a day. I had a chance to pick up a handmade wooden tortilla maker when I was in Valle de Bravo, near Mexico city. Aaron carried that thing around for me for the rest of our travels and it was totally worth it! We make homemade tortillas on a weekly basis, once you have the real thing, you can't go back.
